Vintage & Classic Working Weekend
19th & 20th August, 2006
This specialist non-profit show is aimed at Classic & Vintage Enthusiasts.
This event is funded by local businesses, there is no charge for exhibitors or visitors. The show has grown through word of mouth and sets out to achieve a friendly enjoyable weekend for enthusiasts. The site has superb views towards the south downs.
Last year we featured over 50 working exhibitors including Binders, Threshing Drums, Static Engines, Vintage & Classic Tractors.
Ploughing & Cultivations are made easy on this fertile soil. We have two friendly informal Vintage & Classic classes which will be judged by Derek Hillman who has vast experienece in both ploughing & vintage equipment. Experienced & inexperinenced exhibitors are wellcome.
Facilities include a camp site for exhibitors, running water, WC's, Licensed Bar and Catering Facilities.
Hot Air Balloons will be launching all weekend, subject to weather. Our Country & Western / Rock & Roll Band will be performing on Saturday Night. Morris Dancers
